The Department of the Exterior is dedicated to the goal of reconstructing America's space exploration program. During the Second American Civil War nearly all of America's space launch capabilities were destroyed. Since then, the United States has been dependent on other countries for launching critical infrastructure such as weather, intelligence, and telecommunications satellites. The tragic attack on the launch of the international Itinerant Dawn project in 2019 is proof that for the US to safely return to space, we must be independent in our infrastructure.
To that end, the Department of the Exterior is partnering with over 100 major contractors to rebuild and revolutionize our space launch capabilities to bring a new America back to the stars.
